Virtual Endurance Championship 6 hours of Imola - Joy and pain
Division 1 #83 - Race ended on the start line

Another bad weekend after Nurburgring. Francesco Morante has been involved in an incident at the start and he had to repair damages at pits that costed us 3 minutes and 2 laps from the leader.
We also had to serve penalties got from the previous round, so from that moment the race was almost over and very difficult because of the traffic.
Leonardo Pupo managed to get some positions despite being stuck behind cars that were 1 lap ahead of us, at the end Alessandro Appolloni crossed the finish line in P19.
Division 2 #252 - Victory lost at the end but still first podium of the season!

Finally a good weekend for our Division 2 entry #252, qualified in pole position by Davide Arduini, who had to clear a drive-through penalty from previous race, but showed a strong rhythm and regained lots of time in the first two hours. At the third hour, Marco Slanzi jumped onboard ad managed to continue the comeback until leaving the car again to Arduini while being in top 5. Some cars in front of us took penalties for exceeding track limits and had problems, therefore the #252 jumped in 1st position with a perfect strategy. The race was not finished though, because in the last 15 minutes Arduini fought hard with the Aston Martin of JAESA, but had to surrender due to his poor tire conditions. Anyway, a great 2nd position in GTE, the first podium for the #252!
